SECTION 06 · FAQ

FAQ

Do I need an existing certification (ACE / CSCS) to enroll?

No. HFAR L1 serves five profiles, including serious enthusiasts. The online self-study phase covers the theory baseline, and exam standards are identical for everyone.

What language is the course taught in?

The founding cohorts are taught in Chinese. The first English cohort (2×5h live Zoom workshop) opens once the international waitlist reaches critical mass — joining the waitlist locks the founding price for that cohort.

Does reserving cost anything?

No. Joining the waitlist (or adding WeChat) is completely free and locks your founding price. You only pay tuition when enrollment for a confirmed cohort opens and you choose to join.

What if the cohort doesn't fill?

If fewer than 10 members enroll, the cohort doesn't run — you owe nothing, and your founding price carries over to the next cohort.

What if I fail an exam?

One free theory retake; strength standards can be submitted by video up to 2 months after the course; practical retakes join the next cohort's exam day.

How is HFAR different from CFSC?

CFSC is one of HFAR's three pillars. HFAR layers ACE-IFT assessment and CSCS periodization on top of functional strength, and packages it into a sellable program product — you leave with courses to deliver, not just a training philosophy.

Will there be continuing education credits?

CEU cross-recognition (NSCA / ACE) is on the roadmap once the certification matures. Founding members will be grandfathered into any recertification pathway.

How will payment work when enrollment opens?

Once the English cohort is confirmed, enrolled members receive a secure international payment link (card / Apple Pay / Google Pay). No payment details are collected on this site.
